The 27th China Film Satisfaction Survey was recently released during a ceremony in Macau.
The comedy-drama film “My People, My Country” was announced as Chinese audience’s most satisfying movie from the past year. The Best Film Award went to the sci-fi blockbuster “The Wandering Earth.” Chinese actor Wang Jingchun received the Best Actor award, and Ren Suxi took the Best Actress award.
Actress Tian Hairong, the most popular actress in last year’s survey, presented the Best Actor prize to Wang, her college classmate. Tian spoke highly of Wang’s acting and his kindness to people around him.
Performing artist Xie Fang, 85, won the Lifetime Achievement award for her excellence and devotion to Chinese cinema.
