After the International Olympic Committee confirmed the inclusion of breakdancing at the Paris 2024 Games, Beijing announced its first university-level breakdancing classes. According to the report, there are some three million street dancers in China so far. Over thousand training organizations launched in the country, with 10 million people learning the dance each year. Schools nationwide have added street dance to their programs.
