The first China-Europe freight train of 2023 was dispatched from Nanning City of South China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on January 12, carrying 55 units of heavy machinery to Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan in Central Asia. It will make a stopover at the Alataw Pass, a major land port in northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Check out the video:
China’s A-share market makes a positive start to 2023
Market analysts predict China’s consumption, tourism and exports-oriented stocks will see growth in 2023 after the A-share stock market recorded a positive start for the year. They expected a strong economic recovery in the second quarter. Some 4,300 shares were up on the first trading day of the year on Tuesday. Top gainers include stocks in the internet services, software development and wind power equipment industries.
