China builds world’s first autonomous seaborne drone-carrier [CGTN]

China delivered the world’s first seaborne drone carrier, the Zhu Hai Yun, capable of operating on its own. The design and construction of the Zhu Hai Yun has followed the principles of green intelligence, scientific support for unmanned systems, and a “sense of the future.” Its power systems, propulsion systems, intelligent systems, power positioning systems, and investigation support systems have been independently developed by Chinese research teams. First China-Europe freight train dispatched from south China’s Nanning City [CGTN]

The first China-Europe freight train of 2023 was dispatched from Nanning City of South China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on January 12, carrying 55 units of heavy machinery to Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan in Central Asia. It will make a stopover at the Alataw Pass, a major land port in northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Check out the video:
