In recent years, many places in China have promoted low-carbon and zero-carbon villages, such as the one in Jiashan County, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. The village was once a ruin, now a zero-carbon village with a typical Chinese water town scenery. The roofs of buildings in the village are covered with photovoltaic tiles to realize solar power generation.
