In China, especially around Lunar New Year, tradition is the new trend. Hanfu, the traditional clothing of the Han ethnic group in China, is gaining widespread popularity among young people. Tingyue, a young lady who studied in Australia, introduced the Hanfu culture to her friends abroad. Now she’s back home in southwest China’s Chengdu City, running a workshop, and designing her own Hanfu clothing with some modern twists. CGTN Reporter Tao Yuan takes you to meet her.
