The Duantou village in Jinhua, East China’s Zhejiang Province, can be credited as a park which was naturally formed.

The Village has implemented waste segregation since 2016 and has seen a turnaround in its environment.

Villagers had to dispose of their daily waste in five designated dump station where waste is grouped into recyclables, kitchen waste and others.

Cleaners will do a second disposal to sort out the refuse according to 15 sub-categories, like paper waste, plastic waste, metal waste, etc. The village has received 1,000 inspection groups to learn from its experience.
