Baiyun Village, located in the deep of the Qinling Mountains, had long been a underdeveloped area with people living in poverty. In recent years, by promoting rural tourism and agricultural products, the village has lifted all of its people out of poverty. (Xinhua/Liu Xiao).

Taibai County is located west of the Qin Mountains and southeast of downtown Baoji. It is named after nearby Mount Taibai, a major peak of the Qin Mountains. It has five towns and three townships, including 66 administrative villages. It has a population of 52,000.
