According to reports, the passenger-grade autonomous aerial vehicle (AAV) could carry two passengers per flight with a speed of up to 130 km/h, covering a distance of about 30 km. It is not the first demonstration flight for the EHang 216. Currently, it has amazed the world with its advanced technology in six countries, as well as 16 cities in China.

EHang, an ambitious autonomous aerial vehicle (AAV) technology platform company based in Guangzhou, is the world’s first company to be granted commercial pilot operation approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) to use EHang 216 passenger-grade AAVs for air logistics purpose. EHang is dedicated to pioneering the use of self-flying air taxis and make aerial short-hauls a common sight in the future.
