The opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics took place during the evening of July 23, 2021, at Japan’s National Stadium, the main venue for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. A total of 777 members of the Chinese Olympic delegation appeared at the event wearing uniforms designed by a team from the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology.
