China aims to ship over 25 million virtual reality (VR) devices by 2026, according to an action plan on the development of VR industry released on Tuesday. The scale of China’s VR industry, including hardware, software and applications, will exceed 350 billion yuan ($48.1 billion) by 2026, according to the plan jointly issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and four relevant departments. The musical, “Dream Fame and Love,” will premiere at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center next week. Its theme song, “Pure,” was released ahead of the debut, giving the audience a glimpse into the new production. As the art center’s first self-produced musical, “Dream Fame and Love” focuses on a group of youthful aspirants chasing dreams of stardom.
