China’s women’s curling team pulled off another morale-boosting victory by topping PyeongChang 2018 silver medalist South Korea, while the host nation’s awe-inspiring short-track speed skaters won a bronze in the women’s 3,000m relay at the 2022 Winter Olympics on Sunday. The Chinese women’s curling team, who stunned defending champion Sweden 9-6 in the previous matchday, continued its strong momentum against South Korea and prevailed 6-5. Whether they eventually win or lose a game, they deserve our respect so long as they have demonstrated sportsmanship — competing for the sake of sport only.
