Shanghai recorded 10.98 million visits by tourists during the seven-day Chinese Lunar New Year holiday, reaping a tourism revenue of 17.7 billion yuan (US$2.78 billion). The U.S. House of Representatives passed on Friday a multi-billion-dollar bill aimed at increasing American competitiveness with China and boosting U.S. semiconductor manufacturing.
