As China’s first major diplomatic activity this year, the China-Central Asia Summit has concluded in Xi’an. Behind-the-scenes stories of ordinary people have caught Wang Guan’s attention. Er Qiao, a Chinese cartoonist, says how he wowed foreign guests with his cartoon depictions and his drawings of Tang Niu, a Tang Dynasty’s court lady symbolizing Xi’an. He praises the summit for providing a platform for cultural exchanges with a whole range of products with Chinese characteristics to tell the China story.
