The 3rd Shanghai Coffee Culture Week held its opening ceremony in Xuhui District, Shanghai, on May 20. This year’s coffee celebration is expected to last half a month, during which various exciting events will be held, including the inaugural West Bank International Coffee and Lifestyle Festival, citywide free coffee tastings, “Coffee + Theater” performances, “Coffee + Sports,” and more. The theme song of the “Coffee Together” honor roll was premiered at the opening ceremony. The music video of the theme song showcases coffee moments and the coffee lifestyle at various iconic landmarks in Shanghai, reflecting the urban warmth and international image embodied by the city’s distinct coffee culture. ‘China chic’ dominating domestic fashion market
China’s domestic brands are growing rapidly. Sixty percent of the brands earning over 100 million yuan in sales have a “Made-in-China” label. People’s increasing preferences for Chinese products are even pushing some foreign players out of the market. Chinese Feiyue brand is one of top players. Shoe brand Huili and sports brand Li-Ning are also seeing rising sales among young Chinese, who have come up with a new name for them – China Chic.
