China remains global supply center

China has become a center in the global supply chain over the past decade, accounting for 35 percent of the global manufacturing output, McKinsey Global Institute pointed out in a report. The country has also become the largest market in the world for many products such as automobiles, luxury goods and mobile phones, accounting for 30 percent or more of their consumption worldwide, the McKinsey report added.
