With less than two days until the Chinese New Year’s Eve, the 40-day Spring Festival Travel Rush is in its second week. The total passenger flow exceeded 400 million as of Tuesday. China’s National Immigration Administration estimates that the average daily number of exits and entries during the seven-day Spring Festival holiday will hit 600,000 this year, up around twice from the same period in 2022.
